son braç pintraire
òm diriá la fada
emmantelada de mòrt,

bèl poton trufaire .
Me cossergui ambe sa dalha
e son bigòs,
Ieu cresi un joc, quand
la punta degota;
Qualques gotas de sang a
las tranugas ,
a la punta de la mèla ,
tota enrovilhada.
Tal un buòu cansat que
cor al drapèu roge
Uèi corron los èunas sus
l'ostal, e plòu .
Lo portal es clavat e
l'ostalon vendut.
Un cop èra ,i veniam
manjar las persegas
, los rasims roges o
blancs e las avelanas ;
E las amètlas verdas vestidas d'amarum .
Tot s'es abridolat , e los
quites cerièrs ,
donan pas que de clòscas
de prunas .
Vai amics se volètz
anarem sus la luna ,
per remirar lo vòl d' una
pencha de sèrp.
